Hyperlink to Bookmark - full path display

I am new to WORD 2007.  I am hyperlinking to bookmarks in the same document. When I save and reopen the document and hover over the hyperlink - the entire file path for the bookmark is displayed.  I want the name of the bookmark only to display as it did in 2003. Example -for a bookmark with the name Doc_History, when I select the hyperlink, I want it to dispaly CTL Doc_History and not the file path for the location of the document.  Thank you.

When I insert the bookmark - I see only the name of the bookmark as well. However, when I save and close the document - then reopen it - I see the full path in the hyperlink.  The path updates based on the document.

I sent the file in outlook - if I open the document from my sent e-mail - the hyperlink - includes the full temporary path from my temporary internet files example

    file:///C:\Documents and Settings\SmithA\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.Outlook\SCPSANFT\Document Name.doxc#bookmark_name

When you insert the bookmark, click "Place in this document" in the navigation pane on the left, not "Existing file or web page".

The bookmarks have been inserted by clicking "place in this document."  That is why I don't understand the filepath of the bookmark is displaying.  When I send it to a colleague with WORD2003. The file converts and the reviewer does not see the full path.

Sorry, I can't explain that. When I insert a hyperlink via "Place in this document", the tooltip only shows the bookmark name, not the document name or path.
