Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
I suspect that if there is a beta and an RTM version of Office 2010 present at the same time (i.e the latter has somehow been installed over the former) that uninstalling one will seriously screw up the other because of shared resources. It will be necessary to re-install or at least repair the retail version after removing the beta.

Do you have both the Office beta and a released version of Office on your computer? Go to Programs and Features and see what's installed. The Office beta expired on October 31st, and will no longer work. So, remove it. If you have a released version installed and activated, it should work. If you don't have a released version installed, then you will need to buy one, install it, and activate it.
