Often when I try and close down Microsoft Outlook, I get OLE error 800A01A8 displayed, and that error box wont close down.

I have Outlook 2007 running on Windows 7 32-bit.

Any advise ?

Thanks

In addition to Gerard, if Outlook works fine when you open Outlook holding the Ctrl key, then try disabling add-ins.

Refer the link below to disable add-ins from Outlook 2007.

above link seems to be disabled or lost in space, but my Problem ist still alive.  even when add-ins from Outlook 2007 are disabled, Win7 pro, Office 2013 subscripted with automatic updates.

I guess it's caused by an add-in you have installed. If you start Outlook without add-ons, does that make a difference?

Hold ctrl while clicking on the Outlook shortcut.
