How do I customize presenter view?

On PowerPoint 2011 for Mac, why can't I customize the presenter view? I should be able to configure how large the slides are, whether I show just the next slide or the current and next, whether there are notes, etc. But I can't..

Why not? Is it only me who wants this feature? It seems like anyone who presents a lot would want more control over the presenter mode?

Is this a feature that's coming?

Thanks,

Brian

Please don't hesitate t use Help> Send Feedback to submit any suggestions, comments or feature requests you might have for Microsoft. The data collected by that procedure is tracked & forwarded to the developers & product engineers.

I'm afraid there isn't much anyone here can do beyond what the program is designed to accommodate.

Regards,

Bob J.

I have discovered (by accident) that you can actually drag down the top border of the Notes section. This makes the Notesa and Meeting notes regions smaller and the slide larger. It also allows room for the next slide preview.

Did anyone answer this?  I have the same problem with thumbnails that are too small to see.  The previous version of Powerpoint had wonderfully large thumbnails in Presenter Tools

this is a show stopper for our teachers. we may start using keynote instead.

powerpoint 2011 for mac NEEDS to allow us to customise the presenter view. the thumbnails are unusably small on a 13" laptop screen. the notes are too large. the autohide of the thumbnails is nonsense.

sort it out, asap, MS, or a whole lot of teachers are going to start using keynote, and once they've started, they ain't going back.

That's a great idea!  Please follow Bob's suggestion and use Help > Send Feedback to Microsoft. They might use your suggestion in a future release. Of course, if you don't tell them about your idea, they'll never know about it.
