How to stream Video and watch together on MS Teams without screensharing?

Hi All

Can anybody let me know how to stream Video and watch together on MS Teams without screensharing?

I want my team to join a Teams Conference Call and watch a video together? - maybe something similar to watching a movie together online. That's possible by doing screenshare but the video and audio quality in a shared screen session is not so soothing. It breaks and doesn't appear good.

Currently, we can't share video directly in the sharing settings as it isn't supported.

You could vote on this function request in Teams UserVoice, Microsoft will always focus on customer’s feedback and experience. Some new features would be added to the services based on customers' feedback in the future, and your good ideas will be very helpful for them to improve the service.

As a workaround, you could try to embed a video within PowerPoint and share the PowerPoint file in Teams meeting. For more details about how to complete it, you could refer to this article.
