Is there an option somewhere in word 2010 that is a user configurable version of "don't justify a line unless it's 80% full already, if it's less then 80% left align" or is this far too sophisticated a document editing feature for word?

Ronald, see my reply to your other post.
The response to my question by Jan Freedman did correct my problem - apparently I had struck a key combination that caused the problem with the justification.
Thanks because you replied - I am indicating your good support.
Hi, this did not correct my problem.

Hi, this did not correct my problem.
When I type in a new line - almost immediately after the second word in the sentence it begins to justify. If I type on two words in the sentence - one is justified left and one is justified right. The last line of a paragraph will justify with huge spaces.
In my 2010 Word "Hyphenation Options" box - there is no % but rather, inches.
I think there is one like you are looking for File tab / Options command / Advanced option / Layout Options /
try
Try setting the hyphenation zone to 80% of the line length.
Set the hyphenation zone
The hyphenation zone is the maximum amount of space Office Word 2007 allows between a word and the right margin without hyphenating the word. You can change the hyphenation zone to make it wider or narrower. To reduce the number of hyphens, make the hyphenation zone wider. To reduce the raggedness of the right margin, make the hyphenation zone narrower.
