unique code for microsoft

I bought a laptop it came with a software for microsoft office 07, it was loaded successful and after using it couple of time it requested a unique code provided outside the envelope. I tried entering the code and it says invalid. Please assist because i'm unable to do anything now.

    Without any further details, what you have is a TRIAL version of Office. The WINDOWS Product Key won't (of course) work. You need to purchase Office separately to be able to continue to use it.
