file location is invalid

Original Title: What Do I do ?

When I go to open my Microsoft Office 07 It brings up a configuration window then it tells me to pick a file location so i do and it tells m that it is an invalid location What do I do ? It also has done this with the home and student 2010version of office as well.

    Please start by creating better, more intersting subject lines!

    Please give us the full text of the error message, and error code.

    A file location to do what?

    What file location do you give it?

    How do you give it: type, or use the mouse to browse to it?

    Taking a big guess, I'll suggest that it may be an access rights problem.Windows is, mistakenly, telling you that you don't have the appropriate access rights to the folder.

    You might want to give this tip a try. Remember to customize the locations to be your installation.
