Paste HTML

I am trying to paste HTML I have copied into a powerpoint slide. Everything works great except that all the color formatting is lost, the font is changed to Calibra and the font size is changed too. I have been using paste special and it still will not work correctly.

Is it possible to paste in html and have it retain its formatting?

I have also heard people say making sure you have a default color printer would fix the color part of my problem but it has yet to work for me.

Thank you for any help.

Try using the snipping tool to capture the portion in the html  screen that you wish to put into the powerpoint slide.  If you do not have an icon that you can click to get the snipping tool, go to start and type snipping  there are several options, freehand, square and oval snip tools.

When pasted onto the PowerPoint slide, the text takes on the characteristics of the PowerPoint theme which is why the fonts/colors are changing.  Highlighting the web page contents and pasting a web page into PowerPoint isn't really pasting the web page.  It's pasting the text, images, etc. that you've highlighted.

IF you don't need to maintain functionality of the web page, your best option is to paste an image of the web page using print screen and paste it onto the slide.

Not that I can see in the brief bit of testing I did :-(. Even paste special only allows pasting as unformatted text. I would follow Pat's suggestion and paste a screen shot in.
