Error occurred when I load a form

In my database, I have a form that displays the error "1 errors occurred when you loaded the form or report.  You loaded a form or report that has controls or properties Cap Database doesn't recognize and will ignore".  This error is displayed when the form is executed.  If I press OK then it opens and looks and operates fine.  The funny thing is that if I created a copy in order disect for troubleshooting purposes then the error disappears.

This is driving me crazy.  Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Dirk, I get the error only when I open the form.  Everything else seems to working fine.

    Thanks!

The reason I am reluctant in using the copy is that I'm afraid that I am missing something that might be important.  Therefore, I would like to identify the error before I dismiss it.

As for compiling my code....I'm really not sure what that entails.  Can you provide more information?

    Thanks!

Are you getting this error when you open the database in Access 2010?  I could understand it if you had opened the database in Access 2010 and made some change, then opened it in an earlier version.

If you created a copy that does not have the errors, why not replace your current form with the copy?  It sounds like there might be some code that does not belong.  Have you tried compiling your code to see if the error appears there?
