Need Help with Error: Microsoft Access database engine could not find object "SharePoint_List_Name"

Hello, I have gotten myself into quite a dilemma! I have created linked lists in SharePoint that link to an Access 2007 Database. I deleted a column in the Sharepoint list. Now, whenever I go to open the list in the Access Database, it says the Microsoft Office Access database engine can not find the object. I can still open the list in SharePoint. If I try to "Open the list from Access" via SharePoint and choose the linked list option, it opens a newly created Access database but I still get the same error message. Help!

The reason you can still read the SharePoint list in Access is that it's likely reading from the local cache. To get rid of it, just treat that single list as you would any other linked table - select it and press the Del key. Compact the database, then shutdown Access. Then simply re-launch the database and re-link the list as normal.

How do I delete the link?  I have had issues with this in the past and I want to make sure I don't ruin the list on SharePoint.

I have tried to delete the link through Access and then re-import the SharePoint list as a linked list, but I still run into the same error message.  On Sharepoint, I do not see an option to delete links.

    Thanks.

Delete the link to that specific list, then re-link it.
