Is there a way to change the current date default format in OneNote 2010?  When we insert the current date we would like it to appear as "January 25, 2011 (9:40 p.m.)", for example.

Thank you, Bernd, this was most helpful.  Our only regret is that we cannot choose between the Windows 'Long' date format, 'Short' date format, or customize a format within OneNote.  Regardless, your information gives us a way to accomplish the desired outcome.

    Thank You
