I have a Word document that is protected. Certain cells of the document is unprotected to allow text to be entered as needed.

Each time the document is opened the cells that are unprotected have highlighted brackets to indicate the unprotected areas.

I do not want the users to see the highlighted brackets. Help

If you're using the "2. Editing restrictions, No changes with Exception" option, once the document is proctected,  uncheck the "highlight the regions I can edit" on the Restrict Formatting and Editing panel.

No help...there is a check box that I can unselect that will make them go away. I have saved the form without the highlights visable but once the form is opened again the highlights reappear.

Unprotect the form, clear the form field shading, and reprotect the form.
