I purchased Office Professional 2010. I removed the Beta 2010 version from my computer. I start the install and it comes up with Error code 1714: Setup cannot remove the older version of Microsoft Single Image 2010. Contact PSS.

Hey ! I have the same problem too !
Thanks in advance for your reply,
Simon
I also got the same error while upgrading office 2007 to 2010 any resolution on this ?
I have the exact same problem. I am running xp, and i am trying to upgrade office 2007 with office 2010. I will give me the same error message. Let mek now if you find a solution. thanks
I am having the same basic problem, except I was trying to install MS Office 2010 to replace Office 2007. I have tried each MS Fix It (for Office 2003, 2007, 2010), every MS uninstall tool I can find, CleanC2R (several times) have manually removed (deleted) every Office 2007 module (Word, Excel, etc.), and turned off antivirus and firewall all to no avail. I still get "Error 1714. Setup cannot remove the older version of Microsoft Office Single Image 2010..."
Is there anything else anyone can think of to resolve this problem?
