I have an excel link table to access, make a query from that table tblLogsheet.

I export the query to excel, I go Data>> Refresh Data>> it works will.

However after few months I have this problem[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Too few parameters. Expected 2, after I make a Refresh Data.

When I try to Edit the Query it message box pop up "Too few Parameters" Expected 1 ..

Can anyone help me with this error? What causes the error and how to fix it?

Thanks,

Does your query in Access have a parameter prompt, or does it refer to a control on a form?

    Hi

    I really dont know . . . but may i suggest you . .

Try to open the linked xls in access. if it looks messed up or wont open - chances are it has been updated in excel and will no longer link properly.

make sure the column headers (names) are correct

open the XLS in Excel and check the sheet structure . . it should be a neat rectangle with neat columns and proper headings in row 1

Maybe delete the linked XLS from access and try re-linking it.

sorry if i can tbe more helpfull

    cheers
