trying to install programe but keep getting this message

Error message: "The Office System Pack cannot be installed on this system because it requires Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6 or later

i am using widows 7

Are you doing a network installation of Office 2007?

Create a new folder on the computer and then try copying all the contents from the Office 2007 disk to the new folder. Once done, open the folder > right click on the .exe file > click Properties > Compatibility tab > check the option ‘Run this program in compatibility mode’ > select Windows XP (sp3) from the drop-down > click Apply & OK. Now try installing Office from the setup file (.exe) and see if it helps.
