Hello,

I am a Microsoft Online Customer Service, who is contacting on behalf of my customer. He is using Word 2010. His issue is stated below:

I have some MS Works files that include email addresses of college professors (******@stanford.edu).  When I open them in Word, I get "Error! Hyperlink reference not valid.".  If I mouse over that, a blue window opens and I see my data, but I don't know how to recover it.  I "control + click" but I still can't seem to access my data.  Can you help me?

Right click the hyperlink and choose Edit Hyperlink. There, correct the incorrect information, and click OK. If it's an email address, you should see something like:

******@gmail.com

in the E-Mail Address: field. If what you see isn't a correct email address, fix it. Then click OK.
