Only installing Access 2010

Question

Can some one assist please:

I just would like to install Access 2010 from the office 2010 pro suite. How do I disable all the other office products, so they will NOT install.

You can customize the installation of Office 2010.

Try the following steps

When you insert the disc along with the install button you would also see a customize button.

Click on Customize >select the check box add or remove features> Click Next>click on each of the application name to see a drop down menu>from the drop down menu select unavailable for all applications except Access 2010>click next and click install now.

In this way you can install only the desired application on the computer.

thanks for your reply. How do you uninstall the unwanted modules. They are all listed under office 14, but how can I select them to uninstall? sorry for so many questions.

Start, Control Panel, Programs, wait for it to populate, and uninstall the ones you don't want.

You have to install it all, activate the suite and uninstall the unwanted modules.
