It looks like its a bug with Word 2010
Preferred Width setting not working

In Word 2003, I could easily re-size a table to 100 percent width (margin-to-margin) via Table Properties. In Word 2010, it doesn't work. I've tried turning off the column width preference, automatically resize to fit contents, etc., to no avail. If when using Word 2010 I am in a 2003 doc in Compatibility Mode, the feature works.
Any suggestions on how to get this feature to work on Word 2010 docs are appreciated.
