I would like to have a description of what the different options are in the Text Form Field Options box.  I can't find any explanation on the Word Help or in the printed manual.  Thank you.

You don't need a macro.  On the second page, insert a cross-reference to the text of the bookmark name that is assigned to the formfield and check the Calculate on Exit box of the formfield.

See the On Line Form part of the following page of Greg Maxey's website:

    Suzanne,

Thanks for your help earlier!  I did find a site that answered my question.  What I am trying to do is....I have a reference number field box on one page of a document and that same reference number field box is on the second page.  So when somone enters the the number on the first page, I want it to automatically populate the second box with that same number.

I found this specific example on the following website.  http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Form_Fields_Master.htm  I have to create a macro.  I am still having a little trouble with creating the macro but I was wondering....if I do end up creating this macro....will it only work on my computer?  This form is to be used by multiple users.  So I am wondering if I am just wasting my time.

    Thank you for your time!

    Paula

There's a bare-bones Help article at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word-help/types-of-text-form-fields-HP005186264.aspx. You might also find some help at http://www.uwec.edu/help/word03/frm-flds.htm.

There are some brief explanations at http://www.bettersolutions.com/word/WCD583/ML419324331.htm

If you google for "text form fields options dialog," you'll find all these and more.
