I am writing a Technical Report in Word 2007 and am using endnotes for my references.  I want to insert Appendices after the endnotes.  How do I do this?  Options such as inserting page or section breaks are disabled.

See http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/FootnoteFAQContent.htm#TextAfterNotes for specific instructions on how to do this. Although the instructions were written for previous versions, they still work, but you do need to follow them very carefully.

End notes are placed either at the end of each section or at the end of the document. To switch between these options:

Activate the References tab of the ribbon.

Click the arrow in the lower right corner of the Footnotes group.

Select the preferred option form the Endnotes dropdown.

If you opt for endnotes at the end of the document, nothing can come after them (apart from the page footer on the last page). So you'll have to opt for endnotes at the end of each section, and to insert a section break to start a new section for the appendix.
