Hi All

One of my team site has been deleted and it was restored back. After restoring the team site, I do not see "Forms for Excel" in the "New" menu in the document library. Before the site was deleted i was able to see Forms for excel. Experts guide me on this to restore this menu

Make sure the site you restored has connection with a Microsoft 365 group.

Form for Excel will be available in the document library of modern SharePoint team sites (O365 group backed):

the team site doesnot have a group connection is it possible to connect to group now.

Connect a Microsoft 365 group using the SharePoint user interface by selecting the gear icon in the navigation bar, you can select the Connect to new Microsoft 365 group option:

when i click on gear icon i dont see any option

Go to the Settings page of the new SharePoint admin center, and sign in with an account that has admin permissions for your organization.
Select classic settings page.
Next to "Connections from sites to Microsoft 365 groups," make sure this setting is on:

We could also use powershell to connect the site to a new Microsoft 365 group:

$UserName = "******@tenant.onmicrosoft.com"     
$SPOAdminCenterUrl = "https://tenant-admin.sharepoint.com"     
$ClassicSPOSite = "https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/ClassicSPOSite/"     
    
$O365Cred = Get-Credential -UserName $UserName    
Connect-SPOService -Url $SPOAdminCenterUrl -Credential $O365Cred
