WifiSvc.exe-Application Error

When reinstalling Office 2003 and subsequently the 2007 Upgrade, I received a popup window WifiSvc.exe-Application Error. The instruction at "0x10010221" referenced memory at "0x00000001". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program. Click on CANCEL to debug the program. This occured during the 2003 install and remains after installing the 2007 upgrade. Neither option worked and the window remains after numerous restarts and complete shutdowns.  How can I get rid of the window?

I reinstalled because Outlook disappeared.  I uninstalled both the 2007 and 2003 versions.  Then reinstalled 2003 (Full Install).  During this install, the WifiSvc.exe - Application Error appeared.  I then installed the 2007 Upgrade without any problems. Everything else seems to be working fine, just can't get rid of the window. I'm running Windows XP SP3.

Try removing all the office components using the ‘Fixit’ mentioned in the article below and try re-installing the office 2007 in windows clean boot mode and check if it helps.

Note: Ensure to restart the computer normal mode after troubleshooting.
