I haven't noticed any problem with performance so it may not be a cause for concen.

Uninstall Windows Desktop Search and reinstall the latest version:

Does that help?

Thank you for your help. That appears to have resolved the Outlook Error issue. A new error has come in for Windows Search Service:

"The update cannot be started because the content source cannot be accessed. Fix the errors and try the update again."

I haven't noticed any problem with performance so it may not be a cause for concen.
