Office 2007 Ultimate Installation Problem. Setup cannot find Office.en-us\dwdcw20.dll

I bought Office 2007 Ultimate online. I downloaded the installation file, and started the installation but shortly into the installation a windo pops up that says "Setup cannot find Office.en-us\dwdcw20.dll. Browse to a valid installation source, and then click OK"

I ran a search for the file and it was located in the directory that the installer was trying to find it in. I tried reselecting the directory but the same window popped up. I also tried moving the file to a new location and directing the installer there, but when I do that I get a "Invalid Location" error.

To see if the installer I downloaded was corrupt I tried downloading a trial version of Office Pro directly from microsoft and I got a similar error when trying to install.

I'm running Windows 7.

If anyone could give some advice it would be appreciated

I tried the clean boot, but it didn't work. I also tried creating a new admin account and running a clean boot but that also didn't work. I did check the setup log file and the only error was a "Cache Error 0x80070017" which judging by the number of hits I got putting that in google is an awfully common error, with very few resolutions posted. I also tried redownloading the installation executable and I got the same error but for the Proof.cab file. That kind of makes me think its a corrupt download. I had already paid the few extra dollars for a CD so I'm hoping that it will resolve the issue.

Try to install ‘Microsoft Office 2007’ in clean boot mode. Click on the Microsoft link below to know more about clean boot:

Important: In clean boot mode all the third party applications (Including your security software) will be disabled. Starting your computer without security software may put your computer at risk.

Note: After you have finished troubleshooting in clean boot, do not forget to reset the computer to start as usual:

If this did not help, create a new windows user account as an administrator and install office from the new windows user account. Click on the Microsoft link below to know how to create a new windows user account:

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/Create-a-user-account

Note: You may delete the new Windows user account after successful installation of office 2007 and use your old user account.

If you look in the setup.ini is the 'LocalCacheDrive=C:' 'uncommented'? A similar error but not the same?
