Are you directly opening the word document from the zip folder or is the file extracted? Does the issue occur only documents which are zipped ?

If you have the file extracted, try opening the document from within the Word application. To do this,

Open Word - File - Open - Browse to the document and try opening it.

Does the same issue occur while opening all document created in format 97-2003 (.doc) format?

Try creating a new Word document and save it in the 97-2003 format and check if the issue occurs.

Hi no the zip opens when I try to open the word file it gives me the answer The destination file cannot be created. Which I thought that it was an office problem that it does not have a place to match the word application. I can open Office 2010 Word document but the file that has been sent is 97 - 2003 file.

Zip files are not associated with Microsoft Office.

Are you trying to open zip file using any Office application?

If your issue is related to zip files only, post your query in the windows forum below.
