I want to Draw a Simple Graph in Word

I know you can use Excel to create very good accurate graphs and then embedded them in Word.

But I want to draw a simple graph; with a horizontal axis of five years divided into five and the vertical axis to go from -450 to +200. And I want to draw to simple lines on this graph to show two different trends. And I want to be able to resize the graph to fit within the borders I've got set on a A4 sheet. And if I need to re-size the simple graph everything stays in proportion as with a picture.

The best answer is already in the first paragraph of your question: Make the graph in Excel and paste it into the Word document.

If you're determined to make it in Word, even though it's a second-rate graphics tool, then get some help: download the Math Add-In from
