Value does not fall within expected range ... Learning Essentials 2.0

I am running Office 2007 on Windows 2003 Terminal Servers.  With Microsoft Learning Essentials installed, users get 2 error messages when launching Excel.  The first error, "An unhandled error occurred in the add-in. Please save you work and restart the application." When they click 'OK', the next error appears; "Unknown name. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80020006 (DISP_E_UNKNOWNNAME))." After clicking through these 2 errors, Excel functions properly.  However, this is very inconvenient especially when trying to interact with a graph in powerpoint where the error messages occur at every click in the excel file.

I've never used the Learning Essentials programs, but...

Chip Pearson has some notes on how to diagnose errors:

    http://www.cpearson.com/excel/StartupErrors.htm

And Jan Karel Pieterse has more notes:

    http://www.jkp-ads.com/Articles/StartupProblems.asp

Essentially, you'll turn off all the addins/startup workbooks and then open

excel.  And then turn on each addin (closing and reopening) one at a time to

    find the culprit.
