Will it?  Yes.  Does it?  Depends. 

If you are XP, have you elected to do Microsoft updates instead of Windows update?  You would have been informed of this every time you manually go to windows update.  You would have to have chosen Microsoft Updates.  If you did do this, you will be getting updates for other Microsoft products (which includes Office).

If you are vista/w7, when you manually do a Windows update, go to "change settings".  Is the check box checked for "microsoft updates"?  If so, yes, you will receive updates for other Microsoft products (which includes Office).
