Problem sharing workbook

I am working with an Excel file and I want to share it.

I click on Share Workbook and check off the box that says "allow changes by more than one user at the same time".  Then I click OK.

Then it asks "This action will now save the workbook.  Do you want to continue?"  I click OK to continue.

Then I get a Minor Loss of Fidelity message saying some cells or styles in this workbook contain formatting that is not supported by the selected file format.  These formats will be converted to the closest format available.

When I click Continue, I get a message saying the workbook is no longer shared.

Why would this happen and how can I get it to remain shared?
