Installing MS Project 2007 SP3

Running Winodws 7.  Downloaded MS Project SP3 and tried to install on my laptop.  Have Project 2007 with SP2 now.

Get a message saying "The expected version of your product was not found on your system."

Installed this SP3 on my desktop (running Vista) which was loaded with the same Project version originally (= same disk).

How can I get SP3 to install on my laptop?

TJMac,

I don't believe there is a service pack 3 for Project 2007.  There is service pack 3 for Project 2003.  Where did you find SP3 for Project 2007?

    Hi E10E,

This is for the product in English language (project2007sp2-kb953326-fullfile-en-us.exe). What is the language of your product ?

    Hi E10E,

That appears to be the correct install for Project 2007 SP-2.  A couple of questions:

Have you temporarily disabled your virus protection?

Do you have administrator rights to the PC?

Have you tried another download if the original was flawed?

    Hi Julie,

I´m having the same problem while installing SP2. I found the installer at

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=C126FA4A-B43F-4F7E-A9D4-522E92A6CFEE

I´m running Project Standard 2007 on Win 7.

    Any hints?
