Conditional Formatting--Icon Sets

I would like to know if there is a way to reverse the color of the supplied icons in Excel 2007. By default the down arrow is red and the up arrow is green.  I would like to know if this can be reversed so that the down arrow is green and up arrow is red.

I am reporting turnover figures as such lower values indicate improvement as opposed to higher figures.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance in this issue.

Correct you can not have the value and the icon in the same cell.

Use the Conditional Fomatting button as normal but select either 'Format Only cells that contain'.

The add the options similar to the xl2003 screen shots.

    Hi,

open the Conditional Formatting Rules Manager, doubleclick your icon set rule and activate the checkbox Reverse Icon order.

Thank you for your reply.  I am not familiar with creating an icon with a formula.  Could you provide an example?

    Thank you again for assistance.

I don't believe you can control the direction of the green arrow, only whether it is used for the larget or smallest values.

You could try creating your own icons via formula.
