Split Screen scrolling

In the past when I use split screen, I could use the scroll button on my mouse to scroll in the quadrant I selected.  All of the sudden now when I scroll down, it always scrolls as if I'm in the top quadrants. (I hope this makes sence.)  Please let me know what I must have done to change this feature and how to change back.

No macro. I selected a cell in the third quadrant and scroll down, so I am expecting quadrants I and II to stay put - not the case.  Now, quadrants I and II alway scroll down regardless if I have selects quarant III or IV.  I really need split screen instead of freeze for this particualar spreadsheet, but I'll use it for now.  Do you have any suggestions?

Is there a macro in the file which may force the selection of a cell in the top left of the workbook? It is strange that if you select a cell in the required quadrant that it changes focus to the top left regardless...
