Runtime Error with MS Word Add-in

I downloaded an add-in for doing a “Many to One’ mail merge in MS Word from

http://www.gmayor.com/ManyToOne.htm (You can see the link in “Doug Robbins has come up with a pair of**add-ins to attempt to simplify the process…”).**

This would solve a critical problem for me if I could get it to work. When I run the "Many to One" add-in I get this message:

Run-time error ‘-2147024894 (80070002)’: Invalid root in registry key (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Option (rest is cut off)

I've inserted the add-in two ways: First, as indicated in the instructions by inserting it into the MS Word startup file. Second, my inserting it using the Word Options Add-In function via the Office Button. Does anyone have an idea what is causing this?

Thanks.

Send an email to me at dkr[atsymbol]mvps[dot]org so that I have your email address and I will send you a stripped down version of the add-in that does not have the email facility in it.

    Doug:

    Thanks for the quick reply.

The answer is "no".  This place uses Lotus Notes Release 8.0.  I realize your instructions specify that but was desperate for a solution.

I would be happy with mail merge letters I could just copy and paste into Lotus Notes e-mail - let along having them automatically sent.  Any ideas?

    Thanks and Cheers, mate.

Do you have Outlook set as the default mail application?
