When in options/current database and trying to choose a display form drop down list is empty even though I have plenty of forms availble. How can I populate this list? See screen shot below on the left I have the list of forms and on the right the access options screen with the blank drop down list. Thanks

Hello,

What happens if you create a new database from one of the sample templates and then try to set a display form for that database?

Steps:

  1. Launch Access 2010
  2. Choose Sample Templates > Northwind and click Create
  3. Click Login at the dialog
  4. Go to File tab > Options > Current Database
  5. Click the Display form combobox

Are there any entries in this combobox?

If there are entries in the combbox, I would question if your database actually contains form objects. If the combobox is also blank for the Northwind database, then it appears there is a larger installation issue and I would suggest opening a support case.

Regards,

Dennis

Hi Nathan, thanks for your reply. I am trying to set a Display Form. I imported all the objects into a new database and the dropdown list is still blank

Are you trying to set a Display Form or Web Display Form?  What happens if you import all of your objects into a new database and test?

    Best Regards,

Try closing the database then reopening it.
