Question

Cannot install language pack. Error code: 0x80073D01

I'm installing Vietnamese language pack on Windows 10 21h1 but it said that: "Sorry, we're having trouble getting this Windows display language installed. You can try again later on the Language options page. Error code: 0x80073D01".

I tried many solutions on the Internet but none of them works. Please help me find a way to fix this, thanks very much.

Hi

I struggled installing a language module on windows 10 enterprise connected to a domain getting error 0x80073D01
and changing the below registry which is related to update policies solved the problem ..

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate

DoNotConnectToWindowsUpdateInternetLocations = 0

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU

UseWUServer = 0

Thank you very much!, I just created this account to say thanks because I've been loking for a solution to this problem for almost a year now, I'm also on Windows 10 Enterprise and I was getting the 0x80073D01 error each and every time I tried to download an English language pack for my laptop, but this registry edits solved the problem. Thanks a lot! :3

Hi

Have you ever changed the place where new content is saved?
Language pack needs to be installed on system disk C.
We could check the setting in settings>system>storage>change where new content is saved, then try to install the language pack again.
