You might get this error if you have my FindLink add-in installed and you are running in 64-bit Office.  I don't yet have a 64-bit compatible version but it is on my development list.

Otherwise it will most likely be a similar problem with another add-in.

Try de-installing all add-ins and then adding them back one at a time until the problem occurs.
