Error message "This action will reset your project, proceed anyway?" appears with no VB code

I have an Excel sheet with an ActiveX Combo box, when I add a second Combo Box, configure the list reference, etc and save it, on re-opening the file I get the error "This action will reset your project, proceed anyway?" .  I have no configured VB code and nothing set to run on loading, so I am confused where this is comming from.  I have also tried saving as an .xlsx file to remove any VB code and I still get the error.

Any suggestions on how to stop this will be appriciated.

I don't know why you should be getting that error, but you can try to turn off the notification of the error. In VBA, go to the Tools menu and choose Options, then the General tab. There, uncheck the :"Notify Before State Loss" option in the "Edit And Continue" frame.
