When doing an export from jenark software to excel I rcvd the following message: "error occurred while accessing component property/method: OPENXML. Unknown name. Error code: 0x80020006 XLExport Library\rptview.w(5890). What does it mean and how can I correct what I am doing wrong? The Operating system is win XP Prof., the Microsoft office version is 2000.

Office 2010 is the latest, with full support of xml. Whether or not it works will likely depend on how well your other software works.

so if I were to upgrade my version of excel to 2010, this would not happen?
IIRC, XML existed when Office 2000 was released, but it wasn't supported by Office 2000.
