We are trying to install Office Professional 2010 on a Windows XP SP3 machine. I get the error message: msxml version 6.10.1129.0 is required.
If I try to download msxml version 6, i get an error message that a "higher version is already installed". Checking in the control panel, there is msxml 6 service pack 2, however it will not let me repair nor remove it - it says there was a "fatal error" during installation and the installaion was not complete.
Where do I go from here???
