I am copying a document from another program and pasting it into Word so I can do the prrofreading and abc grammr check, etc. lately, when I pase the document in word and hit the ABC check, I am getting suggestions for words that are spelled different ways (there, their, they're) and in red brackets i am getting suggestions on words i might need to use. It is taking away the word I typed in and only giving me the suggestions in the red bracket. This didnt used to happen, I need my original text to stay as I typed it so I know which I typed. Help

    Hi Kelly Lynn

This behavior isn't ringing any bells with me. Have you installed any "tools" recently? I'm wondering if this is a third-party add-in...

If you start Word in Safe Mode (hold down Ctrl when starting it) does this behavior go away?
