Does the issue occur only in Word or in all Office applications?

If the issue is with all Office applications, follow the steps below to repair Office 2010.

1.       Click on Start> Computer> Uninstall or Change programs.

2.       Right click on Microsoft Office 2010 and click on change.

3.       Select Repair and click continue.

4.       Close when it is completed and check with Office applications.

If the issue is only with Word, check in application safe:

Open run window (Windows key + R), copy and paste the command below and click ok.

Winword /safe

Of Word works fine, then follow the steps below and disable the add-ins.

1.    Open Word.

2.    Click on File> options> add-ins.

3.    Click on ‘GO’ beside Manage – COM Add-ins and uncheck the add-ins and click ok.

4.    Close and open Word and check.
