Form Wizard and More forms missing from Create tab

The form wizard and more forms options are missing from the create tab of the ribbon.  When the database is closed, form wizard is visible on the ribbon, but it is grayed like all the other Forms options.  When I open a database, the form wizard option disappears from the menu. On the create tab I have: form, multiple items, blank form. Datasheet, navigation and client forms. Where is the form wizard?

I am unable to reproduce this.

Perhaps of other database window when you load is not maximized?

Eg with the window sized larger, we see the options like:

But, if you make the access window smaller, then options start to collapse, and we get:

And, if you make access really small, then ALL of the ribbon beomces a dropdown like this shot:

And, of course if you open up a accDE, then the options are grayed out. And, opening a accDR, that again hides those options.

I would try creating a blank database, and see what that gives. You could also try re-setting the ribbon customizations, but since this works in some, and not others, I at a loss as to what is going on here. I hope you do follow up if you solve this.

    Hi Albert,

thanks a lot.  When I create a "blank web database" the form wizard is not on the create ribbon toolbar.  When I create a "blank database" form wizard is on the toolbar.

What is the difference between blank database and blank web database?

    a little more info ...

When I open the database from the CD in an access 2010 instruction book, the Form Wizard and More forms options appear on the create tab of the ribbon. When I open a small database that I created using access 2010 last week, form wizard and "more forms" disappear from the ribbon.

What could the form wizard not like about the database I created?

    thanks,

I used File, options, customize ribbon to add the 'form wizard" command to a new group. That made the form wizard visible on the ribbon.  I did an install of access 2010 on a 2nd PC, same results. Form wizard is not visible on the create tab, forms section.
