Pivot Table, sort by Month

I create a Pivot Table, where one of the fields is a Month.

I want to order the months, but not alfabetically, because in that case I get April, August, December...and so on. I want to get real order: January, February, March, April and so on.

If I go to the order options, I only have ascending and descending.

How can I solve this?

Thanks in advance

Regards,

Emece.-

Right-click on one of the months in the Month field and choose Sort, More Sort Options, More Options, uncheck Sort automatically every time the report is updated, then pick January, February,... from the First key sort order drop down and click OK, choose Ascending or Descending, OK

I had this problem for an Excel PivotTable Report Filter (Office 2010):

You need to move the item to a row label (preferably the highest level), then you can right-click on it and follow Shane's instructions.

Once it's in the right order, move it back to the report filter.

This is an ongoing problem for any pivot table I create. It always sorts the months in the same (wrong) order, despite setting the key order to January, February, March, etc. I always get January, February, March, May, September, October, November, December, blank, April, August, July. There must be some flaw in the program.

    Hi,

Upload the workbook to OneDrive and share the download link here.
