Which version of Works was the document created with? The version supplied with Word will open documents created with Works 6 to 9. You can download the earlier converters from my web site http://www.gmayor.com/downloads.htm or for a one-off, e-mail the document to me via the link on the home page of my web site and if it is not corrupt I will convert it for you.

What sort of disc? If floppy you may have corrupted it by trying to open it in Word from the disc.

    Hiya

Thanks for your help but I have sorted the problem out now. I emailed a copy of the email I sent you to myself and opened it and it worked fine.

    Thanks again

Hiya, I think it was version 7.0, I can't access the laptop to check, it is on a CD.

would be great if you could have a look at it for me, it isn't valuable or anything great but just something I started as a kid and want to have a look at it again.

    Thanks for your answer
