text sometimes disappears

Sometimes text will simply disappear. When I change the zoom percentage, I can sometimes see it is there although it is too small to actually see. This also happens in Excel. The text will disappear form the cell, although when I click on the cell, I can see the text in the formula bar above.

Do you face the same issue when you start excel in Safe mdoe ? (Start > Run > Excel /s)

On what other appplications do you face the same issue?

    I'm sorry you misunderstood what I'm trying to say. When I am viewing a document at 100%, the text will disappear. It is not visible. If I change the percentage, I can see that the text is still there, but it is unreadable. When I change the zoom back to 100%, the text is still not visible, although it will sometimes come back. This is also a problem in Excel. The text will disappear from a cell. If I click on the cell, I can see the text in the formula bar above, although the cell looks blank.

    Usually it is hard to see text that is less than 40% zoom. If your zoom percentage is equal to or less than 40% you might not be able to see the text. Increasing the Zoom is the only way out.
