"Windows cannot access the file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\PPCORE.DLL for one of the following reasons:  there is a problem with the network connection, the disk that the file is stored on, or the storage  drivers installed on this computer; or the disk is missing.  Windows closed the program Microsoft Office PowerPoint because of this error"

I have recently discovered that the Powerpoint installed on my computer as part of Office 2007 Pro has stopped working. All other Office 2007 apps work (and everything else on the computer). I have followed advise listed on the microsoft sites and completed a CHKDSK run (reported nothingbut to no avail.

The only thing that has happened to the computer in the past twelve months is an install of 2GB of memory.

THe computer is an Asus Pro31F laptop with 120GB HD running Vista - Office 2007 was installed by me after purchase. I haven't had any problems until now!

Can some one advise me what to do next? Do i have to an uninstall/reload all of Office 2007 or can I just "adjust" Powerpoint?
