Format Picture Error Message

I'm getting the following pop-up error message: The measurement must be between 0% and 10675%, and now my word doc is locked up. I'm using Word 2007. Please help!

    We are having the same issue when trying to resize a picture- the erro is something like 'the measurement must be from

     -1.06 and -0.4 then you can't get out of the dialog box- the only way is to ctrl+alt+del and end word. Has anyone found a solution to this???

    What steps are you following to format the picture?

    Try to create new word document with same picture and then format to see what happens?
