ProPlusrWW.MSI error

I originally had MS 2003.  Then, I installed MS Office Professional Plus 2010 and did not like it.  I uninstalled the product and re-installed MS Office 2003.  Now I get an error window popping up on several MS 2003 products upon opening them.  The error begins with a Windows Installer screen. "The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available."  If I push "OK" the error repeats itself. When I push Cancel, I get " The path Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'ProPlusrWW.msi' in a folder from which you can install Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010."

The only way past the Windows Installer is to close the box three times in a row.  Then the particular MS 2003 product works.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this issue?

It looks like there is still something from Office 2010 on your

computer. Office related applications perhaps? Outlook BCM, Outlook

Connector, Proofing Tools and so on? Uninstall them if present.

And/or try the Fix It to uninstall Office:
