Mouse Pointer Flickers In MS Word Document

Question

Have Office 2010 installed with all the windows updates.  Windows 7 64 Bit

When I open a word document, my mouse pointer flickers while hovering over the word document.  Outside the window, acts normal.  Mouse works fine in the other applactions e.g. Excel, Power Point.

Tried reinstalling Office thinking it may have been corrupted but nothin improved.  Wondering could it be registry issue or what?

Is this issue experienced on all Word document or on all the Word documents?

Let's run ‘Fix it’ from the following KB article and then copy and paste one document to another and verify the result:

Note: If running ‘Fix it’ doesn’t fix the problem, follow the other troubleshooting steps mentioned in the article.
